Thank you to Vid Alliger, Manuel Betancourt, Michael Cole, David DeMeo, Jay Fuller-Ng, Cloud Jacobs, Barbara Perez Marquez, Molly Muldoon, and Katie Schenkel for joining me yet again on this wild, creative journey! Thank you to Marisa DiNovis, who was our editor and champion throughout! And thanks to everyone at Penguin Random House for making this book happen! Every kid in the Kingdom will need to join together to solve the mystery and defeat (or master?) this menacing new monster! The same creative team joined me to create an epic adventure in the Cardboard Kingdom where a mysterious monster stalks through the neighborhood at night. I wasn’t sure how we could possibly capture that magic again for a second book, but I think that we’ve come up with something pretty dang exciting in ROAR OF THE BEAST! Making the first Cardboard Kingdom was a magical experience – teaming up with ten writers who each contributed characters and shared their stories. Each page of these new volumes is meticulously reproduced to be read seamlessly in book narrative format."Ī fourth series, Red Hood: Outlaws by Patrick R Young and Nico Bascuñán, began last year but there's no word so far on when or if that series will also make it to print. The second book in our Cardboard Kingdom series, ROAR OF THE BEAST, is out today! “Expanding DC’s creative partnership with WEBTOON into print with books like Batman: Wayne Family Adventures reflects this demand. “Fans can’t get enough of our DC and WEBTOON content,” said DC's senior vice president and general manager, Anne DePies. The print edition collects episodes 1–11. Her only way back is to solve the infamous Jack the Ripper murders. The series finds the 21-year-old Zatanna blasted back in time to London in the 1800s. Zatanna & the Ripper by Sarah Dealy and lead artist Syro follows on October 3.

The series follows the young Mari Jiwe as she moves to the big city to start college, unaware that she's being pursued by her deadly distant relative, General Maksai.

Also available that day is Vixen: NYC by Jasmine Walls and lead artist Manou Azumi.
